? I'm not familar with your particular tractor, but doesn't your tractor have glow plugs already?

If your battery dies, could be your charging system is not working correctly or your battery is shot.

Brand new bat. any other suggest.

Chock? I think you mean choke.... There is no such thing as a choke on a diesel. Maybe you are pulling the fuel shut off and that is why it needs alternate fuel such as the starting fluid/carb cleaning.

You need to go to the dealer and learn how to use your tractor properly. A guy on here just did $3000 to his Kioti's engine.

Starter fluid will really do a job on the pistons in short order. If you must use something switch to wd-40, it is much less destructive to engine internels. But find out why it has no fuel??

Ya working on the spelling! Tractor runs great now. Flush and a fuel filter really did the trick! I don't have a dealer near me at all. 4 or 5 hundred milles away. Working on starting the kioti with out carb and choke, she's doing a lot better and will start most of the time with out the choke... I was having to spray the "choke" into the airfillter to get it to start, now she pretty much will start with out help! Running great, thanks...

I think he means it takes so long to crank it after a stall that the battery looses its charge while extended cranking. I say either a fuel or compression issue is at hand.

THERE is NO CHOKE on a deisel. I guess you missed that when D Piolet said that. You should not have to use anything to start your tractor esp on that new. Myabe if it was like minus 20F or something it may be acceptable if you HAD to get it started.

I still think you have a problem. My 30+ yr old yanmar with an unkown history will start after say the second attempt with no glow plugs or the thermostart system on it down to freezing temps.

As to the WD40 thing i read on here that that was true of the old formula but the new one was changed due to "huffers" and it is not as good to use as a deisel starting agent.
