Keoke said:Hi guys, check out another Itailian fail mower "Muratori".
I got one of these with the hydraulic shifter and love it. It looks just like the Caroni is the same orange color. The blades however, look different.
cheers,
Big Daddy said:I picked up the new Caroni unit yesterday at Petersburg, VA with the shift kit installed. I tested unit today for about 45 minutes. The drive was about 7 hours each way. Everything works great and does everything as advertised. The hydraulic shift kit is a "must have" for my purposes. Thanks to all that have posted on this item. Your comments are the reason that I made this decision.

Curious if you got a price on shipping before spending 14 hours on the road to pick up the mower?

Big Daddy said:Yes, they quoted me $178 for shipping to central New York State, which was a little more than my cost to drive there. I actually had some other business to do in the Washington, DC area that made it more justifiable for me to drive. I am sales tax exempt, as well. My total cost for the unit with the kit was $2,290. I wish I could have helped you, Reg; but my trailer holds one only unit.
By the way, for anyone interested in the shift kit for the TM1900, the Agri Supply item # is 68318. This item is not listed on their online catalog, or in the computers of their retail locations.
