My basic wood pole barn in the middle of the woods seems pretty mouse proof, none detected inside, nothing chewed, no nests found, and my trap never sprung. My entry door and roll-up doors have pretty nice seals, but surely a crafty rodent could find a way in. 3.5 years in, keeping my fingers crossed.
Maybe the trick is just to make them lots of awesome nesting spots outdoors instead? Lol. They sure do like making nests in my covered firewood storage bins.
