Carriage House Doors or...?

/ Carriage House Doors or...? #21
I don't really know this building turned into a home away from home but it did. Actually I do, the company that built it kept sending me blue prints and my wife and I kept changing them.:) The building originally was to have just standard 6x6 poles in front with no doors and not to mention no concrete floor which is going in in the spring. Oh well.

My wife does not ask for much and when she does I try to accommodate her. One door $ is not too bad, two is tolerable, three is....OH WHAT THE HE**. Wish I had your building.

My wife doesn't ask for much either and when she does I try to accommodate her also, but I go just a little farther than that. I have made a list of things that I am going to suggest for her to ask for, and if she wants to ask for them all I will try to accommodate that also just for her.

I vote for the second carraige door. I like your building, what size is it?
20 x 32 http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/projects/202410-pole-building-gizmo2-20x32.html

I believe that would be suggestive thinking.

I realize this is already decided and implemented. However, one other factor to consider on the doors is wind. I originally put carriage doors on my barn, but ended up replacing them with roll ups because of wind. When it is windy out it is very hard to hang onto the doors - it actually needs 2 people to close or open them. I had 2 doors that were 8'x8' each for a total of 16' opening. The 2 - 8x5 doors were easier but were still a challenge when windy.

I believe the "carriage" doors are really the standard roll up garage door made to look like a traditional carriage door. Clopay is the company making something like this sold under different names in various national outlets. Nice but pricey. I do own stock in the company.

Yep, it is a roll up but not sure it's what I would call "standard" but then again I have never purchased a garage door in my life besides these. The wife likes them and that is what counts, I own the inside.:D These are CHI doors.
