I picked up a carry all on 7/12/02 and wonder what you folks used to make a floor? Treated 2x ? Treated 1X ? Marine/Exterior plywood? Steel mesh?

Right Gary. I wouldn't get to carried away with it. My carryall just has a few scraps of 2 x 12 bolted to it. Sometimes, I take them off and use the prongs as a forklift. (not recommended by Leinbach, by the way).

Is your carry all a KK? Are your "forks" spaced to fit under a pallet? Any pictures?

KK? It's a Leinbach. It is just a 3pt hookup w/ to prongs of angle iron. It's not the most rugged thing I have ever seen, but it great for lifting a riding mower to change the blades!(put a block of wood under it before you climb under).

Bo,

I thought of all those answers before I picked up a good sturdy pallet (free /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif) at my Kubota dealer. Look for one that has the slots in the side that the carry-all arms can slide into. Works great!

Thanks to all. I'm not pretty and almost sure that I'll go with treated 2x lumber. It'll last forever and looks neater.
Thanks!
Bo
