Carrying stuff on your Kubota?

But... but... I don't have a roll cage on my kubota. He!!, I don't even have a ROPS at the moment. Took it off so I could get it in the low ceiling area of the barn for winter storage. But it does have a 'be(er)verage holder'.

Ah you crazy open station guys... You have tons of room for storage solutions. The one thing I miss from my open station L3130. Moving to the Cabbbed L5240 had a lot of benefits, but I have yet to come up with solutions to add a chainsaw holder or toolbox mount... Just isn't the flexible space you have on an open station. Ah well, at least I am warm at -20F :D

Lol... -20° F? No thanks. Not an issue here, I can only recall once, maybe twice in my 39 years it's gotten that cold here. We did have -30° F once when I was in my teens, and we had a cold snap about a year ago that got us to -15°, but who in their right mind goes out when it's that d@mn cold?

I hear ya!!!! I've been carrying a Welding Table design around in my head for a couple years. Just can't get past that $400 top plate!!!! :)
We are in the same boat here!!! :drink: Lots of dreams but no action for this very reason.

For a chainsaw scabbard or tow-chain storage, lash a kid-size golf club bag to one of the loader columns or the ROPS.

I frequently reach for the shovel when watering my new orchard trees. A golf bag on the ROPS works great to carry it.

Here's a photo I posted here long ago. There's a smaller golf bag mounted forward of the loader control, for chains or the little 18V chainsaw. (In the second photo below that's a reciprocal saw in the front bag).

In this photo I'm carrying lopping shears and bowsaw, in addition to the shovel, hulahoe and mattox for maintaining the reservoirs around new trees.

And here's a carrier on the little tractor for water in a half gallon cranberry juice bottle plus gloves, hand pruners, hitch clevises. (It was an insulated picnic bag). There's a similar bag on the opposite side and also a plastic toolbox lashed to the quickhitch. I like the idea of a basket on top of the quickhitch like I saw earlier in this thread - I should build one.

For larger stuff - chain saw, gas, oil, generator, electric tools its either the FEL bucket or loosely in the grapple jaws. For smaller stuff - water, sunglasses, toilet paper, lunch - I have a small back pack that I throw over the seat. It rides very nicely right behind the seat.

You obviously have a LOT better attention span than I!!!! I used to haul stuff in my Grapple Bucket. Then one day heading into the timber I went by a down tree limb. I'll just pick that up with the Grapple and haul it to the brush pile. When I opened the Grapple and tilted forward to grab the tree limb my $500 saw fell out on the ground!!!!! Never hauled anything I value in the bucket again.....

For anyone else out there with no nerve and no skills, here's a quick and dirty holster for my 3PH wrenches. Laugh if you like (I did) but it works and I didn't have to drill, cut, or weld. And that's a good thing...

No laughter from me. I've seen PVC pipe used a lot for storage compartments. I might laugh at you if you said you carried those things in your lap because you have no nerve or skills!!! But you overcame the obstacle and created a useable accessory. Nothing wrong with that!!! :) (Just a smile, not a laugh)
