Junkman, I'm still a (fairly) young guy. How long will I have to live before I can begin a successful assembly? )</font>
I can't say how long you will live, but hopefully for a very long time after I am gone, and I hope to be here for a long time also. None of us know how many days, weeks, months, years we will have on this earth. That is the province of G_d. As for how long before you can begin a successful assembly???? I would say about 5 minutes after you finish reading the directions. Back in the 1960's, I purchased a garage door operator that came with a 20 page manual to explain how to install and adjust it. On page 5, there was a box at the top of the page that had in large letters, "Now that you are stuck and reading this manual, finish reading it before proceeding any further. Unless you read the entire manual before starting installation, you will be making mistakes that will require you to start over again." I always thought that it took the manufacturer a lot of guts to put that into the manual, but it was right on target. Most people just read to a certain point and then tried to assemble the unit. I also was one of them. Now, I read all the manual first, even if I don't follow all of it or remember all of it. "Measure twice, cut once." /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
