I'm planning on installing some caging around the ROPS, some push bars above the blade and a guard over the grill. quote]

This is what I did to my blade for brushing, works very good.:D

Brian,

That's a really nice looking job that you did on your blade. I have some angle iron welded onto mine to keep logs from rolling over the top of the blade. It's amazing how they will work there way over and into my hoses behind the blade!!!!

I did get the screens and push bar added this weekend (my pushbar looks a lot like MtnViewRanch - but it's not painted yet). I've got the pictures, but left the camera in my other truck. I'll get it posted tomorrow.

I also added som screens to the side of the operator area, and a jump seat for my co-pilot (My 7 year old boy). It has a seat belt and we're going to add padding all around it (we get a bit bumpy when we're dozing). I'm also installing a seat belt for myself.

We dozed for about an hour yesterday, plowing through a thicket of thorn bushes and cedars. I'll try to get some pictures of what we've accomplished so far with this little machine.

I've still got a lot of work to do to it to get it how I want it. I've yet to install the hourmeter or water temp gauge, and I want to change out the fluids/filters so that I know what I've got. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my little dozer at this point.

I'll get some pictures posted tomorrow. Thanks for the encouragement, fellas.

Here are some pictures with some of the guarding on it. I took them this morning in the dark while it was raining. I didn't want to take the dozer out in the rain just for a few pictures, so I climbed around on the haystack to get a couple of pics.

And no matter what the blade says, it's not for sale.

In the last picture of my previous post you can see the side cab(?) guard on the left side. I have one made up for the right side, but I didn't get it installed yet. I'm going to take all of them back off and paint them, but we didn't have time to get that done over the weekend (me and the boy had to go push down some trees). You can also see the jump seat/armrest for my co-pilot.

I tried not to take pictures that were too close to the welds. Of course, I always thought the reason it was called stick welding was that everytime I tried to weld, the rod would stick to the metal (he-he).
