have case380ck,3point works for a while when first starting,then slowly quits working
changed oil amd filter,useing HY TRAN oil

Welcome to TBN; I would first try this - first put a fairly heavy implement on the 3ph (if you have one), then let the tractor cool (preferably overnight) - then start it up and IMMEDIATELY raise the hitch and (without touching the controls) shut it off - if the hitch drops in less than an hour, it's likely either a leaking valve or a bad seal on the (probably internal) lift cylinder.

Since it's at least 44 years old
