Case 580E Backhoe

Have a CASE 580 E Backhoe (model :Super E)that won't go forward ,got reverse no problem all the arms and buckets working fine just no forward

Here's what I've done so far :
1)checked linkage(seems to be ok).
2)check hydraulic fluid (full).
3)Drained fluid and replaced with new.

still won't go forward any ideas?

There's a hydraulic shuttle valve located at the bottom of the linkage. If I remember correctly, upper right side of trans, remove floor pan to access. Probably your culprit and not too pricey either.

I know this might sound dumb, but my Dad was on my backhoe and he said the same thing. It just stoped on him and wouldn't go forward. I asked if it went in reverse, and he didn't know. He went and checked, and it didn't.

He said he didn't do anything to it, but it just stoped moving.

When I got out there, I looked for a hydraulic leak first, but didn't see anything. But I did notice that the drive shaft was off. It had sheered the bolts that attach it to the transmission.

Other then that, I don't have a clue.
