Case 885

Found a Case 885 on CL close to here that I am interested in.

Any 885 or similar Case owners out there with comments or issues with these tractors I should be aware of before deciding on a purchase.

Always get good info on TBN and hope to get the same now!!

Case 885 is a David Brown 885 built after Case bought the David Brown tractor division. About 42 HP 3 cylinder, I happen to own one. IH 885 4 cylinder 70 or so HP. Which are we discussing? Both are now in the CaseIH family now and I have seen both called Case or CaseIH.

Ad says 75HP with dual PTO and 2 wheel drive. No hours mentioned. Pictures look clean and not beat up.

Must be an IH. Built in Doncaster England by IH. Good larger utility tractor in its day. Make sure this one's day isn't in the past.
