Hi,
I'm a new member, I like the info so far.
I own an 1991 Case IH 595 4x4 with 2250 loader. Seemed to be a great machine has over 4000 hours. It recently just stopped on me and won't even turn over anymore. It trys to turn but does not have the power to do so. Battery is good. I drained out the engine oil and found some small steel filings in it. I think it may be related to the crankshaft or crankshaft bearing. Has anyone seen this before?
I have stripped it down to the point where I need to remove the oil pan. Because the engine block is the frame, does the tractor have to be jacked up front and back to remove the oil pan? can the oil pan be removed and reinstalled later without jacking up the tractor?
Any help would be great, thanks.
