If you can get by with your current 3pt lift capacity sounds like a used skid steer might be the ticket for your situation.

Yes, I've looked at skid steers. However, all I have seen are pretty expensive for what you get or really rough and a questionable purchase. If I could find a good deal on a reasonable skid steer, I would be inclined to give one a try.

For that kind of weight as a stready diet I would look hard at the Massey 4707. That tractor is very thought out from end to end & had a lot of weight for stability.

Yes, that MF 4707 looks like a really nice tractor via web literature. Its superior weight should be better for ground engagement plus, it will be safer with heavier loader bucket/pallet weight.

I found a dealer ~90 minutes away that should have a deluxe open station model in stock in late May.

I need to upgrade from my Kubota L4600. While a great tractor, it just isn't meeting my needs today. I need more loader capacity (~3K#'s) and more 3-pt lift capacity and, the L4600 is too narrow (3-pt) for most of my 3-pt equipment which is class 1&2 compatible. I really like its low fuel use but, it's narrow tread and high profile is a problem on the sloped land I use it on now.

I have looked at the John Deere 50x5M tractors but, they seem much more expensive for similar features and capacity. I also don't like their propietary software issues. The Kubota 7060 has the regen emissions which seems to work well but, the Case IH / NH are DPF regen free which is nice. Both have larger tires which is nice in addition to a better stance and more ground weight (L4600 is too light in the rear end).

I'm looking to stay in the low $30K's price point new and don't mind a properly maintained used tractor. What are the pro's and con's of these options? Which options am I over looking?

I have Case IH, NH, Kubota and, John Deere dealer support close by so I'm pretty brand flexible.

TIA,
Sid

That Kubota toolbox location was something I was aware of. What were they thinking with that one?

The 6-speed transmission puking oil is a new one to me. I would be more irritated than that YouTube'r if I spent ~$30-45K on a new tractor that did that.

I went to the Sunbelt Expo that痴 the largest far as I知 aware in the Southeast this past fall. Every brand tractor is there to look over and the Massey impressed me the most of any in that class. I did look at cab models only so I can稚 say for the open stations, but I知 sure it痴 about the same there. Every control was right where it needed to be and very comfortable! They put it through a lot of rigorous real world testing before releasing it which several manufacturers aren稚 doing anymore. If they put (sure they do) as much energy and thought into the assembly in plant as they have with the rest of the tractor I think Massey will be a very solid & reliable tractor. Just be sure the dealer is good.

It seems you didn't ready the comments.
They fixed all at no cost and so far he seems happy with the Kubota.
If I'm not mistaken it was an assembly problem and they issued the wrong bracket for the tool box.

Guess you didn't read the post attached to your response. $45k for quality control like that????? Sounds like someone's a cool aid drinker at any cost.
