I just bought a new but preowned quick hitch for my 1986 38hp Ford tractor. Turns out Cat 1 is 29" wide, and while it will go on the lift bars, none of my attachments are wider than 22".

Is there a company that makes a Cat 0 quick hitch?

That Ford with 38 horsepower will eat your Cat 0 implements. With a Brinley Cat 0 plow I found a Cat 1 frame for it, and pulled it behind my old Deere 1025R. The Deere subcompact tore the plow off the frame. I repaired it, sold a it with the new and old frame, and have been looking for a proper plow since.

Not looking hard, but waiting for a deal.

Anyhow, the point it that your Ford is too beefy for those small attachments.

I'm picturing using old Sears attachments on the back of that Ford...
Not a pretty picture...!

One reason I bought the Kubota M6040. It can handle Cat 2 implements. Cat 1 implements tend to get crumpled out here. Even when I'm being careful.
