Cat 1. 3pt quick connect unit.

Has anyone had any experance using one of the many different brands of 3pt quick connect "brackets" that you see at TSC? I kinda like the idea of backing up to an implement, raising the lift up to the pins and flipping two levers to attach the implement. However I haven't heard if they work well or not.

They work well if they fit your attachments.
Problem is many times your implements need to be altered for the quick hitch to fit.

Thanks for the info. I had reason to believe that was the case. I have to move my tension chains quite a bit to switch from the box blade to the brush cutter.
I will just save my money to buy a PHD> /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have one I got at TSC. All the bottom links on my equipment fit fine. I put pins in the top link so I can adjust it quicker. I've been satisified with it.

Will Cat 0 items fit a Cat 1 3 pt hitch???

With bushing adapters because the pins are smaller in diameter.

Not sure what tractor you have. If it is a BX2200 then they don't work. The 3 pt arms on the BX2200 are too short. I bought one and then took it back.

Nice concept, just didn't work. TSC folks said not a problem and thanked me for trying.
