Cat door installed on the wall for $16.00

I have a lovely cat who needs her own door for in and out.
Used to open the sliding door for the summer season.
But I need to install a cat door on the wall for the winter season.
Purchased a cat door from Amazon for $16.
This is for the door not for the wall which is only 2/1/2" thick and no telescoping.
So, I had to extend it to 5 1/2" thick.
It came up very good ^^ and my cat loves it so much.

Also, installed a thick vinyl cover on the doghouse door for preventing the escape of the warm air.
My lovely dog already is spoiled to stay in-house

Very nice job..
A buddy of mine has one that unlocks when his dog wants to come in..
He lives out in the country where all sorts of critters try to get in..
The release is on the dog’s collar.. it’s very cool.

I put a cat door on my garage a few years ago. Big mistake. They through up on everything, or knock everything off of a shelf. My wife wanted them in there, and I didn't realize how messy they are. Now we've sealed off the cat door and they are all in the shed. I had to install a chain across my shelves to stop them from pushing everything off of the shelves, and they still through up on stuff, but at least it's out there and easier to ignore.

Cats are proof the earth isn't flat. If it was, they'd have pushed everything off of it by now.

I did the same thing for 3 cats. Never again.
Cat hair and spray everywhere, even had a litter box for them.
Then the raccoons came in, another big mess.
