( Ok, we need pictures!

If the tractor is new, make sure the 3ph arms aren't on backwards, that can throw the geometry off. The in-law's tractor came with the arms installed backwards from the NH dealership, the tractor was a TC-30.

If you can't provide pictures, at least tell us what make and model of tractor you are working with. )

It's a Yanmar 2020D.

Will check to see if the adjustment turnbuckles are adjusted out.

I've seen some implements with what is called Cat I narrow. These have a between spacings on the inner pin of 11", 17" to the ends of the outside pins.

Another had spacing of 17" to tips of inside pins, 24 to tips of outside pins.

In any case, we did find (as above) the implement that would fit, so problem is solved.

Thanks for all the help, especially the 3pt hitch spec info from ASE!

Regards,

Well, I have a Yanmar 1110 which is 1/3 the size of your tractor. I can fit Cat 1 attachments onto my tractor with the pins turned in. Your tractor will be a Cat 1 tractor, so something isn't right. The lift arms could be reversed, the limit chains could be binding, or? BuT you should fit Cat 1 attachments with the pins turned out.

I've got a little Iseki TX1500 so it's a little tractor. I put category 1 implements on (5 ft. box blade, 48" rotary cutter) but I do have to work to get the 3 pt. arms far enough apart.

I bought the 3 pt. conversion new to put on this tractor, and I found that there is a specific orientation to how the links between the tractor lift arms and the 3 pt. lift arms connect. If I hold one of these links vertical, the top is "bent" a little to one side. I have to install these links so that the top of each side points to the outside of the tractor. If I get even one of these links on wrong, I can pull all day on the end of the 3 pt. lift arms, but I won't get them far enough apart to hook up the box blade.

Your set-up may be different, but it's worth looking at.

It's hard to explain. I'll try to take some pictures to illustrate the point.

Does anyone know if Pats Quick Hitch, which will extend the lift arms 3 inches will solve the problem of hooking up Cat 1 attachments to a Cat 1 Narrow 3-point hitch?
