You don't need to worry, the wildlife will find a way in your property.
I have barb wire on about 1 1/2 acres for some goats and a pony, and have the wire at least chest high, the deer jump over it all the time and i find hair on the wire where they have went through it.
My front yard is little over 3 acres and i have chain link around it,the
chain link is 4ft. fence but is of the ground 1 1/2in. so it is easy to run a weed eater around it.
We have deer jump our chain link all the time, we saw a doe with a fawn come running and the doe jumped the fence, went through the
yard and jumped the fence on the other side of the yard. but the fawn went under the fence and couldn't get back to it's mom, i put the fawn on the outside of the fence but the doe would never come back.
I tried for two days but the doe would never come back, then i noticed that a doe had been hit by a car on the main road, so the i figured it was the mom to the fawn.
I called the game warden and they said leave the fawn alone, it had
nothing to eat for over two days, couldn't even stand up because it was so weak, one of my goats had a 3-month old baby so i got milk and started bottle feeding the fawn, i would feed it then let it back out of the fence, i took care of it for 4 months and it would follow us around.
I started feeding the baby deer apples, peaches and would take it to
the garden and feed it corn, tomatoes and cucumbers. Since it was eating better, i decided to take it up in the mountains and turn it loose, where there was a lot of acorn trees and away from any houses.
So the wildlife will find a way in on your property, even if you put up a 6 FT. fence, (so don't worry about it and get some sleep)
Here is a picture of the fawn after i started feeding it everyday.
