allow the deer ?? jeez. I'm looking at 6'-8' field fence on the perimeter of my 40 acres to keep the pests out. Can't have a garden or a flower bed even next to the house. The blasted pests eat everything that is green in color this time of year. They have eaten all the evergreen/spruce/honeysuckle/slash pine/aborvitae/Scottish pine/etc. My neighbor tried a 6' fence around his garden spot but adult deer have no problems flat footin' it over. Some moron had a canned wild hog hunt 6 mile south of me on 160 acres. Now we have ferrel hog problems which is the reason I'm looking at 10ga field fence on the perimeter. Some of these boars are running 400-450 lbs and they will tear up a 1/4" welded wire panel enclosure or go under or over. We have misguided folks out here feeding the deer and hogs (city folks just moved to the country) such as my new neighbor. His wife is complaining she can't have a flower bed anywhere. To much of the wrong wildlife ain't good.

Jim,
Wild Hogs? We killed hundreds last year and sold probably a hundred or more that we trapped.
We trapped this one and it's sales weight was around 225lbs.
I'm convinced it's almost impossible to keep the off your property. Just trap, hunt, sell them or give the meat away.
Post pictures of the big ones.
