Man, you are likely to curl the paint on that bad tractor....... I wouldn't knowingly let mine get that close to all that heat.

Have fun,
Ron

Nice pics!!!

Hmmm. It sounds like SkyPup and I are the only 2 that'll get our tractors near the fire. I'd rather use my FEL to put stuff on then to try and throw it in by hand.

SkyPup - did you loose your chainsaw? The 3rd pic has the saw in the BH bucket but it's gone in the other 3 pics.

That Husky 372 went nutz on those huge tree trunks, took over five tanks of fuel to dismember those trees, but difficult to get a really hot base to get the fire hot enough to consume a dozen large rootballs I ripped out with the BH.

One of the best ways to start a good bonfire like these is to use an old truck tire and light it up on the pile, it will look like a rocket engine pointing towards the sky a couple of minutes later! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Don't ask me how I know! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think our insurance company saw your pictures... the one thing they wont cover is if we use the tractor to play in fire. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey, everybody loves a good bonfire! Gotta tell you though, being from the N.E. where you sometimes find yourself scrounging the late winter woods for anything burnable, it pains me to see such large logs simply go up in smoke. Not an issue where you live, I realize, but up here I'd be stockpiling and splitting those logs to burn one woodstove load at a time. Looks like several weeks of heat to me!

Hey, don't throw those big logs on the fire, bring them to my house for use in my wood stove!

No problem, we've got way more than enough for our woodstove. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Good to see someone around here knows what a tractor is for. Just sat in an air-conditioned cab B3030 over the weekend and thought what next, vanity mirrors and a free cd of the movie Grease for the player? Just kidding, I would take the 3030 any day, they would have to keep the Grease CD however.

Being around fire is another reason to like diesel over gas, been in the fire many times, diesel is much safer.
