CBD/hemp oil, anybody use it?

Wifey has bad RA, and numerous bad discs w/ associated spinal problems. She takes CBD oil two times a day. She is able to function. She did not take it for 2 days once (ran out and next delivery was delayed).... she could barely walk and had tremendous pain.

Sounds like my wife. Besides her spinal problems, her cancer really messed her up.

Same here. Big Pharma hates any alternative treatment that takes money out of their pockets. They are not in it to cure disease or relieve pain, they are there to make obscene amounts of money for themselves and their shareholders.

Another way to look at is, who is to say you wouldn't have died of cancer years ago if you weren't a "pot head"?
It's not the end all magic bullet, but it seems to be helping so many that it is hard to dismiss the anecdotal evidence.
Even proven prescription pharmaceuticals don't always work for everyone.

It has been a few years since I got interested in learning about hemp based CBD oil. At the time it was not on the market in all of the USA and I bit on a con scheme because I was ignorant on CBD oil products. It was labeled as hemp oil which was factual but if it it is not labeled CBD oil then most likely it is just oil from hemp seed which is not a source of CBD oil.

I have settled on the CBDistillery label for the last year and prefer the full spectrum but others may not. I have moved to the CBDistillery Relief + Relax Max strength 5000MG per bottle/167MG per dropper. It runs $180-$240 per bottle for the same item. I am finding the best prices currently at Earlybird CBD | Premium Hemp & CBD Online and Wholesale
– EarlyBird CBD but that may not be the case tomorrow. Basically I settled on a brand and go with the lowest price distributor.

While a bit less expensive per MG I moved to the 167MG strength because their dropper only about half fill so two droppers would be 167MG. Currently I am actually doing 167MG morning/evening after eating a high fat meal or snack to help it get into the body better. If taken on an empty stomach I read the liver can clear/remove 94% of the CBD oil on the first pass. At $16,500 per gallon for the full strength I want it to stay in my body as it can. One ounce yields 2 half dosages daily for 30 days.

Over the last 3 years I have gone to wasting some $$$ on trash oils to brands with certified CBD quantities that actually cost much less. I plan to keep lowering my dosage down the road. The way some use CBD oil a few drops at a time a one ounce may last a year or more. One objective of everything that I put in my mouth is for it to have a positive effect on my gut microbiome which can weight 4-5 pounds of our total body weight. It is provides us with 70% of our immune system source so microbiome balance can impact quality and length of our lives.

If interested read and keep reading because a lot of research is being published each month. I do not sell anything and my n=1 self studies are for my own understanding. My results were not a net positive so I stopped taking it by mouth recently.

After some serious self trials with CBD oil usage I did not like the side effects when taking by mouth. Not sure why but it did impact my focus this summer so I stopped taking it by mouth but will finish off what I have by applying it to the skin over joints that are painful.

In my case I found the marketing hype did not match my results. Sure it helped with the pain but not my motivation.

A couple months ago, one of her cancer doctors was trying to figure out why her white blood cell count has not come back to normal. He has been doing some testing and he thinks that she has Lupus. This explains all sorts of things, so last month, they put her on a medicine to see if there was any improvement and it was amazing. She has felt pain her whole life, and after a couple of days, it was all gone, and she had more energy then she can ever remember having.

She picks up another type of medicine today and we will see if that makes here feel any better, or if the first one was the best.

She has not used CBD oil since this new treatment has started.

Glad your wife's pain is now better managed. My wife has been living with lupus for 35 years.

I think CBD oil has its place in managing cancer. While I had been playing around with CBD for about three years it was this past Feb when I got serious about it use as it is part of the Fenbendazole cancer protocol that I wanted to test for side effects just in case after one of my doctors was asking if I had heard of it. After testing it for about 5 weeks without any apparent side effects I stopped the protocol since I do not have cancer as far as I know but I kept using the CBD oil. Actually I was already doing another anti cancer protocol out of Germany for years that was the same as the fenbendazole protocol except for the fenbendazole and CBD oil. Fenbendazole was used in cancer going back about 40 years it seems and there is human research that found it not to be dangerous but unlike its cousins it has never been tested on humans for the FDA. I could not recommend the protocol but do understand why people like Joe Tippens that was apparently sent home to die after all of the standard cancer care failed was willing to give it a go.

CBD oil helped with the arthritis for sure but I kind of missed the summer because I did not want to get out in the heat. I do think it made me more sensitive to the sun but my drive was in neutral. Last summer I was out taking care of six mini horses, 5 large dog and who knows how many cats due to the wife breaking her hip in the horse lot then the daughter going to Germany for the fall semester and I had no real problem with the sun or motivation to get out of the house day or night but CBD oil usage was light with weak products. I was using the 167 mg per ml strength this summer.

I am still studying CBD oil. It can increase blood flood to parts of the brain I read last week which can be a good or bad thing it seems. Using it external helps my joint and muscle pain. The FDA is setting up a trial of 2000 to 3000 people with a private company to better understand issues concerning CBD oil usage as well as those that manufacture it. It is my OD training that makes me question all of the unknowns of surrounding CBD oil and its effects on the human body.
