Not thats a boat! Very well done! I have 6 strips on so far. 3 on each side. I am hoping to add a couple more today.

Your framework answered a few questions, as far as how to clamp the strips.Something I tried when building the oak stripped top frame for my boat was to cut some 4" schedule 40 into 2" stripes. for clamping stuff.
Question? Did you steam bend the ask, or just heat with heat gun?

I cut the ash into 1/8" strips then used a heat gun to help bend them. Once they cooled down i was able to unclamp and glue up the laminations. Seemed a little faster then waiting for the steambox to heat up.
