Cell phone holders in Vehicles ??

Don't own a cell phone. Maybe it's different in the country, but it's astounding how everyone you see is staring into this mysterious device like herds of zombies. OH...then there's the a--hole going 45 in the fast lane having a chat or texting.

New experience. Went through the Costco checkout this monring and had to give them my cell phone number. They said it was policy. I asked what they did for customers that do not have one. No answer.

Having followed several so=called "drivers" paying attention only to the phone on their ear you **** right I am. Stupidity runs rampant on our highways.

You guys know the GPS, both stand alone and cell phone based, give voice directions and you don't have to look at them, right?

Odd, I've driven 49 of the 50 states over 65 years and never needed a gps...or a phone in the car although I do carry one for emergency use only (used it last summer to call in about the deer that just totalled the car)

Me too but it’s just easier when I have on right on my phone.

I do this quite often. If you pay attention it actually works quite well!

We changed the voice on ours to a South African female's voice and accent. Our kids named her Bridget. :laughing:

She's kinda fun to listen to. Took us a while to realize what she meant when we are approaching an exit and she says "Take the slip road."
