Currmudgeon, Thats exactly what I was wondering if over the years of use the sides have become waterproof or plugged with stuff and thats at least partly why it remains full often now the rain hasn't helped. As for the horrible job when we first got the ranch I'll have to admit I wanted to inspect the cesspool "tank" so I got a submergeable pump and pumped the liquids out thats how I know how deep and positively no tank of any kind to retain it is what I've got the worst problem other then the obvious ooh is Since the water table has risen to the point of flowing into it when it rains I figured deeper would just make a bigger puddle but your thoughts of the sides being waterproofed after years of use shed some possible light on my troubles This weekend baring more rain I think I'll try just opening the sides up a bit so maybe I can get some absortion going. Just think I'll only have an awful job for a little while and soap and water will wash off might near anything of course now all you TBN'rs will probably ride me about having a sh#**y Kubota Tractor. Everyone seems to have a name for their Tractor I think I'll call mine poopy.
