Chains Chain clearance from ROPs

/ Chain clearance from ROPs #11
K0ua is right. Lenny at Motorsport Tech worked with me to spec out a set of 2" spacers for my MF1433. Took several templates, each made from Al blocks, before we got it dialed in (it was his first MF ). But he still only charged me the price he quoted at the beginning- $400.
I can tell you they make a world of difference. I run double ring chains on the back R4s. Prior to installing the spacers, the rings were always hitting the ROPS and on several occasions they actually caught on my 3pth arms while running my snowblower or logging winch. Now I have a little breathing room!

An inch of clearance isn't bad as James mentioned. I think I have an inch or less on mine and nothing rubs or hits so far this winter. I do use bungees to keep chains snug. Spacers would be the way to go if 1" isn't enough for under $400.
