At the risk of ridicule...

I bought my 20' gold 5/16" Grade 70 Trucker Chains from Harbor Freight on sale for 19.95 ea.

I plan on cutting one in half to give me 2 10' lengths to use for the bucket.

I've had 700# in my BX23 Loader so I know the chains are plenty strong for my intended purpose.

I so have "Made in USA" transport chain for securing to my tractor and it cost several times the Harbor Freight Price.

I got my 5/16" chain from Lowes. I believe its 15' and came with 2 hooks for around $30. The important thing was that it was ORANGE which was critical!

Size is plenty or the BX series. I used it to pull some drainage barrier T-Posts and Rebar stakes from ground that is almost solid rock it seems. It took all the BX 24 tractor had and I needed to reposition a few times but it handled it.

TSC is where I go. I'd get something that's a bit overkill and is a good fit in your hooks, with a link slid inside, not actually hooked on.

I like the Orange color chain from Lowe's much easier to find when you lose it in the weeds.
