And you may have noticed that Ken uses weld on hooks on his bolt on pads. And does a really fine job of welding I might add.
Thanks James, I wish I could take all the credit though but these are all done on a robot now, I simply couldn't keep up with the demand.

Here's what I did I'm very happy with it. Feel free to use the idea Ken.

I have Ken's 5/16" Bolt On Grab Hooks on the bucket and cross-drawbar of my Kubota B3300SU. They have not moved even 1/10,000's in four years.

Buy new drills, per Ken's instructions, and installation is simple.

Us Welder guys don't understand why anyone would bolt them on when they can be welded on so much easier and not have to worry about bolts coming loose or breaking depending on your bolting ability or lack thereof. :)

I can weld ok, it's just easier and quicker to drill a couple holes and crank down the bolts than it is for me to drag my welder over, clean the paint off the area to be welded, weld it, clean it again and then have to repaint all the burned off area.

yup, he sure does.... a much prettier and better job than I could do.

Another reason for me to bolt it on. :)

Ken's are great! The video is excellent and the include written instructions are great as well and I use to write procedures to repair nuclear submarines.

TISCO, as well as Northern Tool and othes sell weld-on chain hooks. The use of these rather than grinding and/or cutting grab hooks designed for linking with chain produces in a much more professional result.

Buy the weld-on hooks and take your bucket to a professional welder.

Those look like decent weld-on hooks (Grade 70) for an acceptable price. The flat plates are a valuable addition as well. I'll likely be using your products in the future.

Since this topic comes up often on this forum and others, I'll provide your link unless there is an objection.
