Chain Saw Holder

Wow, I didn't expect this kind of response! Thanks for the comments.
There is a reason for the backwards graphic even though I could have assembled it the other way:
It was both very cold and humid the day I panted it and the other side of the outward plate has a nasty drip on it.
I do plan on repainting it once the weather permits because I don't like it backwards either!

@blackdog2086 - I would be tempted to produce more the design should allow it to be mounted on anything just by changing the brackets.
Fortunately I do have access to a CNC table, that also means I could have another one ready for paint in about 10-15 min

@rlgustafson, I'd take that challenge!

Anxious to see what you come up with. Both of my tractors have cabs, so I haul the pole saw around in my Polaris Ranger to do trimming then back with one of the tractors with grapples to pick up limbs.

You wouldn't happen to have a model# of a pole saw I could use as reference?

Now .... if someone would come up with a good, safe way to carry a power pole saw on a tractor.

I have been thinking about using 2 of these,,,

search "boom pole holder" on eBay.

Oh, by the way,, the OP's chain saw holder looks great,,
My SIL destroyed one saw when it jumped out of the loader bucket.

Now,, he hand carries the new saw around his property,,,

You could use one of these holders but, how would you use two of them? The “pole” has to go under one end and over the other end.

That thing is a bit over 9ft collapsed!
It could run down the side of the tractor but you would loose ingress/egress ability on one side while in the mounts. Mounting high could work but then it could be difficult to taking it on and off.

I would be very concerned that I would snag a pole saw on something I did not see and ruin it. Particularly in the woods or around any tree.

Really nice looking job. My logging winch came with a chainsaw mount but I have been thinking about relocating it to a better spot. I may move it to a similar spot under the loader control but it still won't look as nice as yours.
