Chain Saw Holder

Love it! Well done. I want a chainsaw mount that looks like it belongs. I'm going to have to see about my real estate on my BX. I have side view mirrors and tool (ammo) boxes mounted on my FEL so it might be blocking.

Very impressive work/detail. Looks like it was a factory option.

very humbling to my ego...I pride myself when I get through a successful oil change and I see something like this...you have some serious talent.

I like it. Storing straight up and down like that makes it easy to remove and put back. mine lays on its side and I still have to bungie it down.
Question, have you noticed that the chain oil runs out of it over time storing it like that? Mine laying on its side the chain oil leaks out. I am pretty sure I have the same saw.

Any plans to mass produce and sell copies of your finished product? If so, put me down for 1.

Now .... if someone would come up with a good, safe way to carry a power pole saw on a tractor.

Just finished up my new chain saw holder.

Holy crap that is nice. I was happy with simply ramming my running chainsaw through a 2x6, painting it black and calling it a day.
Even your 55 looks new. Lot of compression on those. Little tough to start w/o a compression release but a strong running saw for its size.

Wow, I didn't expect this kind of response! Thanks for the comments.
There is a reason for the backwards graphic even though I could have assembled it the other way:
It was both very cold and humid the day I panted it and the other side of the outward plate has a nasty drip on it.
I do plan on repainting it once the weather permits because I don't like it backwards either!

@blackdog2086 - I would be tempted to produce more the design should allow it to be mounted on anything just by changing the brackets.
Fortunately I do have access to a CNC table, that also means I could have another one ready for paint in about 10-15 min

@rlgustafson, I'd take that challenge!
