How good is good enough, how pretty is pretty, how strong is strong?

Given all the above philosophical angles of the above, I thought I'd post a website for Pewag Chain . I'm not affiliated with them at all, other than I have some of their product and think it's pretty nifty.

I'm not saying it's needed by all, nor even anyone. I just figure (see WAY above logic on how much is..) if I'm buying something, I'd rather spend a bit more and do what I'm able to do to be closer to 100% that nothing is going to happen. (I've had a 3/8 chain snap on me...probably grade 30?)

I got their grade 100 square link and it bites like a bandit when I'm tugging on a log. (I have the choker hook on one end).

I found their website and thought it had some interesting stuff on it. I've been looking around for some "US made" ratcheting load binders and thought since Pewag had such wonderful chain, they would have US (or Austrian??) made load binders. Nope, theirs are made in China /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

none the less, some interesting stuff here.
