See post 20, 21 or 33 for the link to Lou’s easy one man installation thread.

I finally used this method after years of wrestling the 150 lb Euro chains on.
Still need to fiddle with adjustment to get it right [I had to customize the chains when I replaced the L with the M with R1's, so they are a bit of a ******* son deal now].
But it sure takes the physical struggle out of chaining up.

May I comment on V bar vs studded.
Mine are DIY as I've mentioned earlier.
I had used the Euro studded for my crosses but needed to finish up with domestic V bars as that was all that I could find locally.

Well the Euros are still like new while the V bars are worn to the point that I have no more V's and I only ever drive on gravel or dirt roads.

So if the option is minimal go for Euro style!
