Chains hitting 3PH arms. Need advice on spacers

/ Chains hitting 3PH arms. Need advice on spacers #52
Just so you know, having wider tire spacing is awesome. Yes, it's a hassle to move them out, but once they're out there, your tractor is more stable. Your tractor will be safer to use and more capable every time you use it. The ONLY reason not to move them out is if you have to fit it in a small space, or your blower won't cover your tracks. Otherwise, move them out.

Dude! I brought this up in post #10! We are now at #50. Lol. :confused3: :drink:

I made the adjustment by extending the stabilizer arms which gave me the clearance, but now the lift arms aren't far enough apart to connect to the blower.

I haven't been able to move the tractor as I've been waiting on a replacement link for the chains on the left side. Got that today and chains are fully connected

When posting pics, don't get so close. Step back a little and take a more general pic. Then viewers can "zoom" in if they need to. That puts everything into perspective.

From the limited pics that's been posted it appears the wheels are adjustable. Looking at the one good pic from the rear of the tractor it appears they are in the narrowest position. Move them out at least one position to get the clearance at your stabilizers. This should keep them inside the overall width of your blower.

Were it me, I'd move them out as wide as my attachments would allow.

No flame intended. I'm with Luke, it's amusing that this thread has gone this long to resolve such a simple situation. :D

Plus if you keep trying to do power slides down your driveway you'll want the stability. :D

Waiting on a call back from the service department to see what it would cost me to get the swap done. I was hoping to find a way to make it work in a pinch as we had a storm hitting today, and wanted to clear the drive without having to have my father in law plow an unfrozen gravel drive.

Appreciate everyone's patience and advice

Here's hoping you get some resolution. Hope that storm don't hit you too bad!!!! We've dodged a couple already here this Fall. Hope our luck continues. :)

Picked up the tractor yesterday. Had them extend the wheels to their widest setting and also tighten the chains up. HUGE improvement in stability immediately noticeable. Much better traction with chains tightened as well.

Got the blower hooked up (was fun in -25F wind chills). Only downside is now the tires are wider than the blower.

Bummer on the width thing. I guess it's a trade-off. :)

You can always bolt on a set of wings to the blower. 3" offset wing on each side will make it " wider overall. Check with Kubota, I think I remember someone mentioned they sell ready made wings for blowers.
