Ok, I think I am getting close -- but, I can't get the inside pressure plate off of the machine I found a diagram on a previous thread that showed the parts,
and how they connected, but mine seem to be a little different View attachment 662617View attachment 662616 I am trying to figure out if the hub should just come of, or if I need to take out the multi-toothed Washer, or nut, or whatever it is before it will come off?

Because right now it doesn't want to come off, Also, as I said I saw the diagram of the clutch parts on a previous post you did, is there somewhere I can get a copy of that manual?
I'm not familiar with that setup, but It looks to me like you should be able to remove that hub on the splined shaft once the nut and washer is removed. This is the side that wouldn't work because it was rusted, correct? You will likely have to use a puller and a few judicial taps with a hammer.
What manual are you referring to? All I have is the parts and operators manuals.

Where is this "multi-toothed washer"?

Sorry, the multi-toothed washer was actually the splined shaft -- I think Covid is affecting my brain, So I have soak the splined shaft with the best penetrating oil I can, several times, and then tightened the wheel puller as tight as I can with my 1/2 air wrench, and I have tapped "lightly" meaning as hard as I can with a 16 ounce hammer -- and I still can't get it to move. So there is a hole in next to the splined shaft, I have attached the best picture I can get, I don't think it has any kind of bolt in it, IMG_3604.JPG So I'm not sure what the next step is, Heat? that seems like a problem because it is so deep i'm not sure how to get the heat consistent enough without cracking the cast iron? but if that is the only thing to try I will try it.

What do you think

Does your clutch assembly look like this? Once the nut and lock are removed the drum should slide off the splined shaft. Are there any bolts you can see through the holes in the drum? Reaching for things there that might be different from later production.
Are you trying to pull #9 or #4?

The drum slides over splined shaft #17.

(Stand by for a gratuitous comment:)

Mr Rooks is a true Human Being:
one of few that I know.

Note that he says little, but provides a service which is spectacular.

Being both "present" and "direct",
there is little room for error, and misdirections seldom occur.

Would that I could emulate him in this regard ..
