Fairly new owner of 2016 New Holland Workmaster 50. At 100 hours I changed the hydraulic filter. The filter was purchased from a NH dealer. I followed the owners manual directions. It did not say to fill the new filter prior to replacing it. After replacement the hydraulics, both loader and 3 point don't work. Can I bleed the system? I thought this would have been a simple job.......if you all have any advice for this ignorant but well meaning tractor owner I would sure appreciate it.

You probably have a filter plus full of air in there, can you put a vacuum (like a shop vac) on an orifice to prevent oil spillage then fill the filter?
I've had minor problems when changing a cylinder but they worked out.
/edit
You might want to try DLTTrekkers solution first.

loosen the thinner of the 2 hoses at your hydraulicpump....start your engine and when oil squerts out shut down and make sure o-ring is still in its groove ...then retightern hose.
