Hmmm. I am guessing you are not going to ride in a balloon. Too bad, because it really is a great ride.

I believe you.... my sister took a hot air balloon ride in Luxor, Egypt over the pyramids. She said it was fantastic. This happened a few weeks later.... at least with a plane, you can hope for a glide in....

Reminds me of a job I was on when I was young and foolish. We put a steel roof on an open water tank.It was only 145 feet high but had an open steel ladder that at the top went out to get around the base of the tank, maybe 10 degrees.Of course back in those days there was absolutely no safety equipment. The day we set the top with a crane it was raining,so here you are going up a steel wet ladder.I was probably making $5.00/hr.

I climbed some of those. And I remember that wonderful ladder with the reverse angle. After you got on top, provided you did not slip off and fall to your death you could get on the roll around ladder that was mounted with a single pivot point to the top of the water tank. I was up there to service and put up 2 way radio antenna's. It was really fun. But that reverse angle ladder is something you don't ever forget.

Oh, I was making $6.00 per hour when I was doing that.:)

I will have to admit, watching that one made me a bit queasy. Climbing around on that upper structure looked to me like there there were several avenues to "mess up".

Nothing like a balloon ride though.. the balloon ride felt very safe. Moss, go on that balloon ride.. you will LOVE it!:D
