- 4 cyl genset and 3cyl onan[kubota engines]
just finished cleaning fuel filter on my 4 cyl K. genset...non-enclosed...
problems encountered
1. could not budge filter to turn either way
2. had to remove filter bracket
3. had to pound bracket to separate filter from bracket
cannot understand why the Japs put it on so tight.
anyhow, just wanted to share this with any others experiencing first time tightness
replaced with hand tightness as instructed by manual
