what kind of problem are you having 1985 model should have a motorola alternator number 8al2055f 12 volt 32amp

Ford 5610 1985, Motorola alternator and voltage regulator. These have been replaced. I do not get power feed to the regulator.

G'day IIRC you should have a charge light on the dash, does this light up when you turn the ign on?? If not then check globe as power need to travel through the globe to excite the alternator.

I was trying to find a plan to follow the wiring of the charging module. Even the book I bought and downloaded ( published by ford at the time) was not clear to me. To many models of tractor in the same book. 2500+ pages.
I finally ran a new wire between the alternator and the starter and everything works.
