Can someone tell me the secret to turning "off" the energy saver switch? Mine turns off every 30 minutes and then I have to cut power for it to reset. Thanks.

Thanks, Rob. I'm trying to use the site right now. We've just used the Mobley in the RV or truck, but I'm having trouble with my ATT hot spot WiFi and am now trying to use it in the house. Very frustrating when it sleeps every 30 minutes.

My ZTE Velocity has started having to be restarted every time I let it sit unused for a while. I have it set to never sleep. Seems to stay on as long as I'm using it but if I don't use it for a while I have to restart it to wake it up. Nothing on the screen to indicate it isn't connected but it won't connect without restart.

I wonder if there is anything in my GL AR300 router that can be used to ping the modem every so often to keep it awake?

I never had the sleep issue with the Mobley but have since moved the SIM to a Netgear LB1120 and still no issues with it going to sleep with a Nighthawk Router behind it.

This is AT&T messing with Mobley customers. About a year and a half ago they pushed out a software update that makes it impossible to turn off the energy saver, the most you can do is set it to two hours. To configure the Mobley you need to be connected directly to it with WIFI (ie not using another router). Put in 192.168.2.1 to your browser. That will get you to the configuration page. You can then set the timeout to 120 minutes.

If you've a windows computer on 24/7 try Pinginfoview or write a simple .bat file.

I thought about that. I have been leaving my PC on more than I should but I prefer to shut it down every night.

This morning I checked and it was connected and ready to go so maybe I will go through another good spell.

I had another thought but I don't know if it's possible. I have one Wyze Cam on my network that records clips to the cloud. If I could get that to send a recording every few minutes that should keep it alive.

Edit: After sitting idle most of the day it was still on ready when I tried just now. Fingers crossed I'm over having to restart 3 times a day for a while.

i'm getting some disruptions of the setup, (nighthawk M1, into Asus Tm1900) believe it's something to do with the Asus router,
and maybe it's a setting,
it just stops and a reboot and it comes back, then stops again,
