Good luck. That storm is just finishing up here, We only got 1-2 inches in Northern Indiana. Maybe 4-5 inches 40-50 miles south of here. Waiting to hear about your experience with Bailey's, as that is where I want to order my cylinder for my grapple from.

MossRoad:(I hope)That storm is just finishing up here and just starting here with 12-18 inches forecast by noon tomorrow. That makes for 3 of these biggies already this season. Sure is tough for the critters trying to make a living in snow way over their heads.

John,
Like that photo, but I don't like the sounds of that storm that your going to get,for the storm system looks to be headed our way once its done w/you. /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif

Wonder how come that little guy not taking his long winter nap yet. /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif

Poor fella! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

This winter has been rather disappointing. We had a few inches a week before Christmas, but that melted with rain. We had 10 or so on Christmas eve, but that melted in 4 or 5 days. Then we had about 2-3 yesterday and last night. That has been it. I didn't bother plowing any of it but the 10 incher. So, I've only got about 10 minutes of seat time since Thanskgiving /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif

We got about 5 inchs last night, we did get 6+ inchs on Christmas eve night and more earlier in the month. My parents up north in Michigan have only gotten about 2 inchs total.

I wish you guys would send some of that snow to NE Oregon. I haven't plowed any snow at all this winter. I'll probably regret complaining. "Be careful what you wish for." /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

We did not get much, then x-mas day provided 20" of snow. Rec'vd 3" a couple of days ago, and another 10 - 14" today. I like snow, but spaced out a little more in quantities of 6". Snow banks are very high, hard to see at intersections.

If anyones interested in a source for the plastic edges I just ordered a 7 foot x 6 inch x 1/2 inch high density composite edge for my scraper blade for $53 from NorthBrook Farms.
877 624 2638. I plan on removing my metal edge, drilling the plastic edge and then replacing the the metal edge to hold on the plastic one. (Kind of a plastic sandwich with metal on both sides). The plastic edge will stick down about an inch beyond the metal. My hope is that I can scrape lower to the pavement and onto my grass without peeling up the grass. (Right now I use skid shoes adjusted with a 3/4 inch gap which works well but always leaves a snow covering.)
