Were your travels restricted in any manner?

In China? I was in and out in a few hours. I imagine Hubei province is restricted. I was just at the airport in Shanghai. Korea and Japan was business as usual except for the thermometer nonsense. Any hotel or restaurant or airport was going to take your temp.

Been in and out of China a few times this month. Not sick. It would be hard to get sick there since everyone is masked up. Same for Korea and Japan when I was there. I chose to go without, and tolerated having my temperature taken everywhere I went. It really seems a bit hysterical but there must be something to it. I think if you're not old, a young child and don't lick doorknobs and wash your hands you'll be ok. Time will tell.

Wow... there are lots of travel restrictions in Asia. For instance I went to Singapore last week on business. Anyone that had been in China in the last 14 days was not allowed entry. When I came back from Singapore via Japan I was repeatedly temp checked as well as every public meeting point in Singapore (restaurants, trains, hotels, etc.). When I arrived back to SeaTac, I was asked if I had been in China in the last 14 days. Luckily no... but they sure scrutinized my passport as I visit China 2 or 3 times every year. Not sure what US immigration would have done if I said 'yes'.

Luckily I was allowed in and out without any stamps, so no paper trail. :thumbsup:

Are you referring to the 58,689 the website calls "ACTIVE CASES"?

ACTIVE CASES 58,689 + CLOSED CASES 16,449 = TOTAL CASES 75,138

My post says total cases 75,134 because the numbers have been updated. The website explains what the numbers mean.

Says they are cooking the bodies as fast as they can... (cremate). Lots of interesting commentary on that site. Guess it won't hit home until it gets here and people start dying. People here think they are insulated from it. I think they are wrong.

Truth or dare, no one will ever know simply because China is a dictatorship and if XI don't want anyone to know, they won't. Unlike here where 'leakers' abound.. You know the infamous statements in the newspapers stating 'unnamed source' don't exist in China because 'leakers' there are dealt with harshly, like terminated. So unless XI decides to allow that information to get out, we will never know the actual truth.

All conjecture and will always be.

Not the Corona Virus anymore, it's the Wuhan Flu....
