I can't ID that particular plow but suspect someone will be able to. After looking at many 9 shank chisel plows I don't recall seeing one with that specific hitch design. The outboard gauge wheels and 2 bar design as opposed to 3 bar should also help with the ID.

I don't know who made it but I have one exactly like it. I also have a 7 shank like it as well.

What are you planning on pulling that thing with? My 90 HP tractor pulls the 7 shank well but it's all it wants. The 9 shank needs 100+HP.

Workinonit , ive got it behind my kubota 8540 4x4.
It needs new points put on it so its not 100% right now but the 8540 is doing pretty well with it.
We are doing virgin ground food plots with it.

I buy my points from AgriSupply.
Im looking at a place called Agri tough. Their points are little more $ than agri supply but the videos ive seen of people using them show they are lasting longer.

Looks like an IH 55

I am pretty sure it is an Athens. The top of the springs on the Athens are not connected like the IHC, the wheels are on the outside of the frame, and the toplink attaches to the vertical part of the 3pt mast not the angled support like the IHC 55.

You need a twisted shovel. Half of them on the machine will be right handed and half will be left handed. (when looking at the back of the machine the side that you can see the top of the shovel sticking past the shank on is the direction)

The Agrituf product is damn good. They are a New Zealand based company, use to working in abrasive volcanic soils. It is amazing how much longer it lasts in abrasive soils than normal, even wear plated tillage, I have seen 3-5x more wear in abrasive soils. However rocks will tear them up slightly more than regular shovels due to their high chromium content that gives them such good wear characteristics. If your a New England rock farmer they are not the best choice. However if your farming the Mississippi delta sand it can really save some good money and time.
