Average tree price in SF will set you back $120 +/- including 10% sales tax.

Take a look at what a real tree costs in the New York City. My eyes popped making SF starts to look like a great deal. Out here in the sticks we have guys selling u-cuts for $35 and $40.

I gotta say no in this survey.

Although there's a house we know of that has about half a dozen artificial trees in their flower beds.

It's different for me... as my birthday is the 31st, the day after Christmas the tree officially became the "Birthday Bush"!

A while back I was talking with a friend's wife whose birthday is the 30th and she agreed that you kind of get the short end of the stick with your birthday that close to Christmas. My parents always made sure they kept things separate, but aunts & uncles, etc. had a tendency to combine both into one gift. They'd claim it was "a little nicer", but that was mostly BS. Even as a kid I knew not to say anything, but you still felt cheated.

I would say no unless you put your presents under it.

The Deer and Bunnies look after the presents under the tree. I don't need or want anything anyway. Glad those times are long in the past.
