Chrysler files to prevent importation of Mahindra Jeep

I looked at one of these roxor jeeps up close tonight at a local dealership. IDK if it was for sale but it was brand spanking new.
They really are like the old military jeeps that are popular then and now. This one had a soft top and only one big gauge on the dash and the rest was blank looked funny sorta. It's not tall like todays jeep.
Really cool Mahindra jeep, it would be a tuff little hunting buggy.

No I'm not buying one. Folks got 4 wheelers as big as the Mahindra.

My photo of a Mahindra military jeep in New Delhi, 2004. Driver and passengers in uniform and serious looking. This looked identical to WII jeeps.

I posted this in the thread 10 years ago when Mahindra almost started selling their diesel pickup and SUV here - contracted dealers and everything - then backed out.

I do really like my Samurai... rugged and dependable... zero issues on 20+ years of ownership...

At the time... I wanted a UTV and found this Suzuki for $1000 and jumped on it.

I also like owning vehicles that appreciate...

Around here anything with a few years on it the frame fuel and brake lines are going to be crap from all the damned salt and calcium used on the roads in the winter so that non driving idiots can have bare roads in the winter

We have that issue here. But I think you have a lot more snow days than we do. We had a mild Winter last year and they only treated roads 3 or 4 times.

I bought the red Jeep in this pic used with 6K miles on it for $14,000. Ac, cruise, soft top, hard doors. It's never saw a salty road.

I'm selling my Harley and want to turn that $$ into a Jeep. My first was well used in HS as a senior with the 304 V8, then a 67 Bronco with a 289, back to a CJ then to a 76 Bronco, the last of that 1st gen. Bronco.

I have contemplated taking a trip when it's time to replace my sander truck with a less rusty one, going down to the south and or west to find another one hopefully I have 3 or 4 more years with my 1999 K20.

Don't use the plow much, pretty much just use it for sanding to be nicer to it.
