But a tread, if nearly all of Chrysler vehicles are missing the female market, that could be a major problem. There is obviously something wrong, and it's not just planned hemi phase out, and like it or not, it's not just EVs.

I'm sure it's not a single problem, but many smaller ones; engines, EVs, union issues, the focus on very high trim models, ect; but in a small margin business, not being able to effectively sell to women, Is a big issue.

But isnt high interest rates the reason for diminishing sales ? Trucks in North America, farm equipment in Europe, you hear it everywhere.

With the current inflation, interest isnt going to be as low as it was...

That is exactly the same thing that got them into trouble 50 years ago! Closest the brand ever came to disappearing, if I understand it correctly.

The new folks would do well to know their history, or at least not pretend it couldn't happen again, under their watch.

What is their K car this time ?

I dont think a rebadged Fiat makes that happen...

Profit margins are higher on high end models like the Charger, but the turnover necessary to negotiate good purchase prices come from economy to mid level mass market models. Like the K car in the 80s. But what will be the modern equivalent of the K car ?

People get all worked up over a possible B7.2 Cummins because its listed on the website of a bus manufacturer.

But since the Cummins 6.7 already has a 106.9mm bore (and 124mm stroke) where the FPT/Fiat upgrade of the Cummins 5.9 once built in Europe in a Cummins Iveco JV as Iveco Tector 5.9 and was upgraded to 104mm bore and 132mm stroke, the only way to increase displacement for Cummins is to increase the stroke to 134mm...

Would that 7.2 make its way into the medium duty truck market with a redline of 2600rpm, or will they keep the long stroke engine for heavy duty applications at max 2000rpm ? I think the latter.
