Church Pumpkins

Every year at this time our Church buys a tractor trailer load of pumpkins to sell. There must be thousands of pumpkins in the truck and it takes hours to unload it. I think the truck must be a 1000 feet long . We originally had many people (probably around 70) scheduled to unload on Wednesday. Unfortunately the truck was delayed until Thursday, and we maxed out with around 15 people and it only averaged about 10. Fortunately I brought my Power Trac and a 3 X 6 foot trailer. It still tooks us from 4 PM to 9 PM to unload and my back still hurts. I was told by many people that the Power Trac saved the day. I am supposed to be getting pictures from at least two people. I will post them when available.

That's one of the cool things about a PT400 series and smaller... you can load them up and a bunch of attachments and head over to the church, little league, etc... and get some real volunteer time in... and everyone appreciates it greatly.

Nie pics and what a cool way to use your Power trac. what is amazing to me is that it appears you are putting the pumpkins rught up next to the curb. i can guarantee you one thing, if that were in frace by morning you would not have a pumpkin left. gotta love those American vlalues.

We may loose a few pumpkins to theft, but not many. It is amazing. It's on a major road. A lot of the pumpkins are in front of an all night store. I think this helps a lot.
