check and make sure all pto is off it will not start with pto on although i don't think that explains the dash lights.
I guess the next step is to check to insure the new ignition switch is plugged in good. It's a real chore to try and get that in there. Maybe it isn't plugged in good, that's the only thing I can think of right now that would cause this. The shop manual talks about a 60amp fuse but I cannot find that fuse on this tractor. I looked at the electrical schematic and sure enough there is a 60amp fuse, but I cannot locate it on this tractor.
On my 2003 DK 45 that 60 amp main fuse (sometimes called fusible link) was on left side real close to the oil dip stick it was factory tapped-up with black tape hard to see
