Wider and slower is better with any mower.

60 inch would be my suggestion. I have run 2 different KK 72" finish mowers on my NH TC33D hydrostatic and the tractor continually ran hot. I can run a 72 inch flail mower with no issues of running warm. Mostly flat terrain mowing grass and pastures in Mid range.

For reference I run a 6ft finish mower on my L2501 to cut my 2 acre lawn. But I keep it lawn height (3-4 inches). Thick grass will bog it right down.
