My CK30 HST is 11 years and I get an occasional drip where the hoses plug into the hydraulic lines for the FEL but the rest is bone dry. From memory I changed fluisd and filter at 100 hrs. Probably need s done again...

Another datapoint. I changed my HYD filter and fluid at 50 hours. Did everyone else
that had issues do the same?

I have been a huge advocate for changing the hyd fluid within the 1st 50 hours of original purchase. Kioti uses
some unknown clear fluid and the tractors have lots of flashing inside. It is prob some cheap plain hyd fluid,
not THF.

I have also found that the coolant used seems to be much less than 50-50 ethylene glycol. Might want to change
that within the first few years, and use 50-50 and distilled water.

For us the leak was not coming from the HST. When you split the tractor you have the hst bolted to the rear axle and on the side of the hst you have 2 or 3 pipes that come from the trans where there is an oring. You put on a new oring, push the pipe into the hole on the trans then put on two more orings and use a banjo bolt to fit it to the hst unit. What we've done in the past is seal everything on the hst unit, put it all back together and then test it. The we pull it apart again and look for oil. Most of the time it's the pipes going to the hst because it's really hard to put the tractor together and watch these pipes at the same time without ripping an oring.

That's good to know.

The assembly line workers may be having that same difficulty, and damaging an O-ring.

Can we do a poll on how many tractors or serial numbers that this is affecting? I've got a CK35 without issues but this thread has me a bit concerned.

I just found a HST leak on my 2014 CK 35 HST. I have 376 hours on the clock and have done EVERY recommended fluid change at the interval specified. My KB2475 backhoe has issues as well. I may be looking to trade soon also. I love this tractor, but am starting to have serious doubts.

I have a CK30HST that I bought new 12 years ago and is now pushing 1350 hours. The only problem I had was injector pumps. I have not had any leaks form the HST unit or the KL130 loader or the KB2375 back hoe. I changed all the filters at 50 hours 300 hours 600 hours and 900 hours. I just received new HST and hydraulic filters to change in the spring. Engine oil is changed in the spring with Rotella 15/40 and in the fall with Rotella 5/40 synthetic. I use Shell tractor/transmission fluid ( forgot the name ) I have used a diesel additive ( Howse) since new didn't help with the injector pump problem. I have not had a leak from the loader or the backhoe. I do make sure all fittings are tight. The tractor/loader/ backhoe is well greased . I might be looking to change pins at the main connection to the tractor for the backhoe. I don't see any bushings in the repair manual so the pin must be soft and a new one will take up the excess slop. I also have a 19528N that I just rebuilt and a ACWD45. Both are good tractors to go for a ride on but I would not want to work with them every day. Happy Thanksgiving All.
