On my CK20, there are two electrical connectors behind the seat and below the fuel tank. One has two terminals and I would assume is for the work light. The other larger one is round and has 6 terminals in it. What is that for? I can't find any reference to it in the manual. Also, I the fuse box, there is a fuse labelled customer use. Is there an open connector for this some place?

Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I was wondering about the two connectors, too. The big round one has 5 wires feeding it. I didn't play with that one. The other 2 wire flat connector is live when the key is on. On the other side of the fuel tank, between the back of the tank and the SMV sign bracket under the fuel gauge sender unit is another pair of wires with round connectors which is also live with the key on. I used this set of connectors for a rear work light and mounted a switch on the light unit.
I wished our manual gave more detailed information on this type of stuff.......

I wasn't aware of the set of connectors between the tank and the seat back. I have been using the white connector below the tank as power to my lights, assuming that was the "Work Light" connector. I took the voltage meter out and did a few checks. I pulled the "Work Light" fuse from the fuse box and turned on the ignition. The connectors between the tank and the seat were dead, but the white connector still had voltage. Turned off the ignition, replaced the 10 amp "Work Light" fuse and pulled the 15 amp "Customer Use" fuse. When I turned the ignition back on, the connectors between the seat and tank were live again and the white connector below the tank was dead, so It would be the "Customer Use" circuit. This answered part of my original question about whether there was a connector for "Customer Use". I want to add some forward facing lights on the ROPS in addition to the rear work light and beacon I currently have. With the extra connector, I will have a place to draw power from.
