Kioti CK25 HST w/home built cab
I'm new at this forum. This is my first post. Just thought I would show off my home built cab. Bought the CK25 used with a Sims cab. The Sims cab had lots of sheet metal and not much for windows. I saved the roof panel and the door latches and completely built a new cab. This time it's rubber mounted to the tractor frame via cut down ROPS bars and loader mounts. The Sims cab would lift about 1" off of the tractor on every bump. This one is rock solid. Heater system takes air from outside through filters in back of roof for no condensation on the windows. Rear wiper from the Sims cab, front wiper from a Grand Caravan rear window for a full 180 degree swipe so I can see in the lower corners of the windshield. My CK25 is now much more enjoyable for all weather us.

Outstanding job! That cab looks factory! I always thought the CK series would make a good platform for a smaller factory cabbed machine like what Kubota has done with the 3030.

To Cool !!!!! Do you have any pictures taken during the build process? If you have any, it would be great to see the process you went through to get'r done.

Great job.

Wow! That sure beats the heck out of my Sims cab, it looks like a factory setup.

Good job, I get chills thinking ahead to this winter with snow down my back without a cab.

Cheers

Don,

Didn't take any photos during the build. Just a few during installation. I do have a photo of the Sims cab.

Outstanding job. What did you use for the glass?

Ordered 6mm tempered glass from Cad drawings that I produced from dimensions I took from the semi completed cab.
